“Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”
Sorprendentemente, los tiempos y los pensamientos no cambian: el 59% de los estadounidenses coincide con ese punto de vista, cimiento de la presidencia de Ronald Regan. El 28% está en contra de esa afirmación, y el 14% restante no tiene un pensamiento formado.
El dato surge de una encuesta realizada por Rasmussen Reports en los últimos días de febrero. Otra cosa que sorprende es que esta misma encuesta se realizó en Octubre pasado, con resultados casi idénticos (digamos, en tiempos pre completo fervor por Obama).
La encuesta también deja picando algunos otros resultados llamativos:
1) A majority of all voters say the Republican Party should return to the views and values of Reagan to be successful.
2) Other recent polls show that most voters continue to believe that tax cuts are good for the economy and 48% hold the view that increased government spending hurts the economy.
3) Other survey data shows that 72% of voters believe a free market economy is better than one managed by the government.
